The new BZ is rumoured to be a similar size to the existing Toyota RAV4 hybrid SUV, but as a pure-electric car, it’ll be a likely rival for the Volkswagen ID.4 and Kia e-Niro.
Toyota has filed a trademark application for its BZ logo (Beyond Zero) in Europe with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Toyota’s BZ electric vehicle sub-brand will consist of several EVs. This is according to a post made in the BZ4X Forums.
The first one from its Beyond Zero initiative was teased on April 12, and the official revelation will happen on April 19, possibly at the Auto Shanghai 2021.
